The Living Building Challenge comprises seven different “petals”, addressing issues of sustainability, aesthetics, and social justice. The challenge consists of certification with respect to each of seven petals categories: Materials, Energy, Health, Site, Water, Equity, and Beauty.

C&H Architects is proud to have met this rigorous and inspiring standard with the Bechtel Environmental Classroom, which was the fifth project in the world to be Certified as a Living Building.
